JCW Aero kit with brake cooling vents vs Aero Kit without it - R56

What's up guys?

Just got the JCW Aero Kit from the dealership today (Braman BMW) paid $1436 with free shipping and they delivered it directly to the shop which is going to paint it for me. Best deal i found so PM me if you want to get one yourself.

Anyways, on to my concern... not that i mind but I noticed that there are 2 different bumpers for the JCW Aero kit, one has the 2 brake cooling scoops which are the 2 vents on the sides of the lower grill and there's another that doesnt... I happened to get the one with the brake cooling scoops (or whatever you cal them) but that's just how it came cause I simply just ordered the "JCW Aero kit"... Is there a difference in price or any other difference between these 2 kits?

The brake cooling ducts are on the latest revision on the JCW aero kit. I don't think you have an option to get it without unless you find a dealer with some older stock.

And I believe if you have the older style you can pay a couple of hundred more to get the brake ducts added and replace the lower grill.

JCW aero kit V2 comes with the brake duct kit and updated lower splitter. The lower grill with the brake ducts is NOT part of the bumper. If you get the original aero kit (which is still orderable) you can cheaply and easily get the new brake duct kit and new lower splitter. Check this thread for more info:

I got the brake duct add-on kit a couple of months ago from Morristown MINI for $112 I think. Put it on last weekend, not sure how much cooling the tiny slots really do, but it looks cool!
