Check out www.sincityminiclub.com for when you get here. I moved here from Florida 6 months ago and drove mine the 3500 miles with some detours along the route. It was more confortable that I thought and that was without the nice Recaro seats.

I'm driving the JCW from Charlotte NC to Las Vegas, through Houston where my brother lives. I've driven straight from Charlotte to Houston before, but it's a killer. I'll probably break up the trip with an overnight to and from Houston, with a few nights in Houston to hang out. The worst thing will be the speed limits. I'm very used to setting the cruise at typically 130 mph (when traffic conditions permit) and making great time on long trips. And yes, I'm hoping the Recaros are more comfy than the ones I sat in a the local BMW shop, mounted in a 1 series similar to the tii concept. Those were pretty brick hard as I remember.

Does anyone have a picture of the JCW recaro seats in a convertible with the top down? THAT is what i want to see... no point getting those seats if you aren't gonna drop the top and show! =P
