I've taken the subject lit'l off myself, but...

A member of NAM was selling used one while back, so I've track down the new ones.

None available in USA

New production for those wheels supposely start on October in Japan, but some of major distributor in Japan have some.

Wheels are $450 each, but shipping is only the problem to send by air cost $700 by Air freight.

Caps are not included nor those hubrings....everything else can be purchase here in USA when needed.

Has anyone ever put some seat time in these seats? From my experience, recaro style seats aren't the most comfortable seats for everyday driving. Racing I can see them being perfect, but what about Houston streets? Just curious.

I'd imagine your dealer would charge the hourly labor rate.Probably some ridiculous amount to loosen a few screws and a unplug a few connectors.

We have these seats in my wife's JCW Stage 1 .. .they are really good seats. The only issue I think with them is they actually sit quite high in the car ... lowest setting on them is about the same height as mid setting on the factory seats. And it won't go lower unfortunately. Takes a little while to get used to.

These seats look awesome and definitely good price however I'm curioous to know if installi g them on a north American mini breaches the warranty or will have issues with safety laws. Do you have any info on this as I'm sure u have checked this out.

Cheers

Its sad but nowadays, there are all sorts of legal implications with modifying OEM safety equipment.

Unsupported by the factory here in the US if you were to get into a serious accident and was to sue because you were hurt badly, the other team could/would fight you tooth and nail. All they need is an MM of doubt to Fubar your case and not pay you.

Its sad for sure.

I wish the US had these seats as they would have been a MUST have option for me.

BEAUTIFUL Seats though and I'm sure way better then the crappy OEM seats.
