Hi,
Originally I really wanted to get Rota MC wheels as well since they are really nice. But at the end, I decided to get the real classic wheel either BBS RS or Ray VR-X. I found these Ray VR-X 18x8 with 32 offset so I pulled the trigger and had them re-drilled to 4x100.
I am running Michelin Pilot Super Sport 205/40 ZR18.
The suspension is ST coil-overs with adjustable lower rear control arms.
I need to add custom stripes designed by me, tint windows, black projector head lights and will decide to keep the car or not :-) hehe

Looks good! I am currently debating on coilovers...heard good and bad things about them. Since my car is a 2013, I figured I would wait out the warranty before going to coilovers...

Ohhhhhhh, I see. Thanks vette! So the LCIs have a three piece bumper and a three piece splitter. What are the two pieces on the pre-LCIs? The bumper and the splitter?

I can't believe you redrilled rays wheels. Rota's sure, not rays. Rota's hold 1/4 the value of rays do unless you got money like that, the resale value of those rays is in the rota value now. not to mention any kind of factory warranty the wheels might have had depending on how old they are.

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this has been discussed but can someone explain to me why there are different variations with the rear bumper regarding foglight, reverse light?

I see a lot of people have both lights red, some have both with the backup light (clear and red) and some like myself have only one side with the reverse light. I understand the fog light is only on the left side for those who have it, but does that have to do with the variations?

I've never heard of that term and tried doing some research but couldn't come up with anything concrete. Could you or someone else elaborate?

Thanks!

Mini released the LCI R56 in Aug of 2010? I believe. This included a few updates to the normal version of the R56.

One if these included the LED taillights which resulted in moving the reversing light down into the fog light area of the normal R56. This is why the new R56 have the white in the fog lights as its the reversing light.

I think that is correct, but perhaps more simply it is 2011+ cars. LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) is BMW/MINI speak for mid-cycle refresh/update that is common among the brands. It is a mid cycle updating that usually occurs between the introduction of "all new" editions of the car. The R53 MINI's saw their LCI models starting in 2005 and the R56 in 2011.

I was browsing this thread and came across your post. I knew there was something different about the front kit and I just couldn't point my finger on it. I had the JCW aerokit on my '07 MY but it was the 1st one. I remember wanting the aerokit 2 because of the extended lip and the brake ducts. When I got my '13 JCW I thought it was different. No wonder the installer had a hard time putting the clear bra on the front bumper.

BTW...do you think Aaron can hook it up with painting the arches too or did you some place else for that? Thanks!
