MCS/JCW vs. M-Roadster!
Its a base '86 325. It has the eta motor in it. A slight upgrade is a 325e, then even more is a 325es. It has a set of springs and wheels on it. Other than that its stock. Here's a pic from last weekend. Sorry, pic is big.
I have worked my way through a surprisingly large number of BMW's over the last twenty years or so, the 1602, 2002, 2002ti, 316, 320, 318iS (fantastic engine in that one), 325's of varying combinations of i's, S's and even an X, several 5-series (518 (ugh) 535, 540 (yum) Early M5 (eek), 635 CSI and then the Z's - I have owned two Z3's.
My wife currently drives a 325i.
I keep looking at the Z4M Coupe - I test drove one a couple of times and have run the numbers more times than I care to think about, but I just cannot quite justify the cost.
The M Coupe is better than an Mini in almost every way, they are utterly fantastic to drive and very comfortable too.
I am really waiting for the 135i to arrive before I make a final decision on the Z4M - if the 135i is as good as it looks, I will order one and trade the MCS, if not maybe the Z4M will get my money......
