Great Idea?

I have yet to see or hear of anyone else doing this, so it appears I have come up with a great Idea, until I hear otherwise.

As many of us know the GPs have their little numbers on the roof, what about putting a vinyl of just COOPER, or COOPER S up there. What do you think, am I a creative gienous or just a stupid design student that should quit now.

If it suits you do it.

But a copy of an OEM decal, with the model of the car, much like the windshield decal, not the most original design. FYI check out "Drill Bit" (For got the Spellign of the owners NAM ID)

That'd be me

And some other dude had his initials and lucky numbers done up in a more GP-esque font (i.e. outline instead of solid letters) but I forget who it was

I am looking for something to separate my Cooper from the crowd, and think this is a cool idea, but dont want to be a poser as motor on suggest. This idea seems to be walking a very fine line between the two.

Yeah, I hear you. That's one of the reason's why I went with my MINI's name instead of anything with numbers. And while I hadn't planned on it, the solid letters help differentiate it further from the GP-wannabe look

I would go with my MINIs name, but Pearl on top of my car really wouldnt help my image.

Well, I guess that depends on what image you're going for

Jeremy1026 got some cool new graphics, which include numbers on the roof similar to the GPs, utilizing his initials and 1026 (his birthdate). See his thread.

So, what about doing your first- and last-name initials with your birthdate? For example, mine would be CB 1010.

I offered that suggestion as an alternative to your installing "Pearl" as the graphic. LOL!

I think if an OEM graphic looks good, copy it. I've been contemplating the letters and numbers but only want to do it if the font is the exact same as the GP cars. Copy but cool.
