Interior/Exterior Won a Whalen Shift Knob at AMVIV
Won a Whalen Shift **** at AMVIV
Thanks to the awesome crew at AMVIV, we manages to win a Whalen Shift **** in the Scavenger Hunt. Now the questions are:
1) does it fit an R56 (it was intended for an R50/R53)?
2) any difference in technique for removing R56 stock ****, or do I just pull hard?

3) Probably best to ask Doug. http://www.whalenshiftmachine.com/in...age=contact_us
Pulling is how the old version came off, according to:

However, looking at the mechanism on Doug's R56 version, it may be different.
First of all, congratulations!
Secondly, check out this thread for the scoop on the R56 shift **** situation.

No shift **** for an R56 will fit an earlier car, and vice-versa; but I'd be happy to do a swap with you.
E-mail or PM me for specifics. whamac@msn.com
Gotta warn you, though; I'm leaving tomorrow afternoon for five days in Denver, and I'll have limited computer access for most of that time.
