HELP...Removing and replacing lower grill piece

Hi All -

OK, befor I bust my stock grill piece to replace it with a chrome one, what is the best way to remove the lower grill piece?

There may be an easier way ...... I ended up removing the bumper cover and doing it that way. Good luck!

I think that's your only option - the grille is fastened in from the rear of the bumper cover quite well...

So what is the best way to remove the bumper cover. Is the a procedure on line that someone has put together, or am I just thinking to hard??

It's in the Bentley manual. You remove the screws under the bumper (I think there's 3), remove the two inside the fender liner (these are used to align the cover when you put it back on), and there are a couple on the top side that you can see with the bonnet up. Once those are removed, the cover should come out pretty easy. Make sure you disconnect the power to the parking lights before you pull it all the way off.
