Has anyone removed their factory seat covers and replaced them?

 

Twister and I have swapped our seats, my 06 Leatherette for his 04 Cloth. To alleviate the airbag lights and any question about the safety there we're looking to swap just the covers on the front seats.

What obstacles are there? I noticed there is something where the airbag is located that looks like it could cause some problems. Any other issues we'll have to contend with? Any advice on doing this?

i mean i would hate to see the airbags deploy

 

We'll play it safe and remove them from the car before taking the covers off.

Nobody has any ideas or info on this? Really?
