dental floss is a good start. You esentially "saw off" the badges adhesive, then pick and pick and remove and curse and b!tch, and then get out your clay bar to remove the residue
...and then,.....TAA DAA!
Thats it? Sounds easy enough. I know people here aren't going to like it very much, but I prefer a stealthier look, not a fan of the polished metal and chrome.
Dental floss, and not that Glide or Dental Tape crap. You need old fashioned dental floss for the best sawing action.
Any leftover adhesive can be removed gently with thumbnail. If you MINI is relatively new, there may be no siginificant residue. I used a tiny bit of goo-gone and did not bother with the clay bar as it was not necessary.
Here is a pic of the Cooper S removed from my MINI. Entire job took about 2 minutes!
I think I am going to remove ALL the badges, even the MINI ones. I want to replace the side vents with Cooper ones, the black ones, then put the black lights in there that CTD-Germany sells...
I believe I remember reading that at least one of the MINI badges is attached with 2 pins through holes in the bodywork, so you will have to plan on filling and painting if that is the case. . . .
Comes off as seperate letters. But if your crafty like me, you can put a piece of tape on the emblem first, then remove it so all the letters stay together. Then apply a bit of glue and stick it someplace else.

Built it all myself, even the fiberglass sub enclosure in the picture. But combined I've probablly spent in the $1500-2k range for all the parts and crossovers and caps and amps and wiring and and and and and ...
No fear Cooperspeed, it's rather accented by a light show when the amps are on. I've got pulsating LEDs in red and orange that make the boring opaque panel come to life as a personal light show dedicated to the badge.
Hey Andrew would you be interested in selling me your badge or anyone else that is removing them. I have a project that I am doing and I would like to have three badges. Anyone interested??
