Right now I have the Cooper S volt and boost gauges. They work and look great now that I have increased the brightness, but I think my car is producing more than 17psi of boost with the cold air bigger aftercooler and H2O spraying. My car over boost 4 times a day. I want to replace the guage with a 30psi one but what one will match the same?

Any Autometer gauge should work....I guess. I'm no expert since I have no need for that yet But, the color should be right. The SEARCH button is your friend newb...... https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ht=show+gauges LOL

Thanks J. I want guauges that show the number to. My autometer in my Benz only lights up around the edges. Not sure if that makes sense?

Who makes the cluster for the Benz?...VDO? I know they used to be the supplier for BMW. I can't remember if any aftermarket gauge does that.

I have AutoMeter boost and IAT gauges, because of my aftermarket supercharger. Here is a pic.

It is late and you are an hour ahead of me too. The Benz is night and day compared to the Mini, it handles like sh*t but hauls *** and is smooth. I have about 510hp and 540tq. It is one of the meanest sounding Benz's out there.

Thanks, the Benz kept me busy for two years but now the Mini is taking all my time. I used to have a BMW 540i that was full Dinan but it was stolen and my M3 had sugar poured in the tank from an old girlfriend.B*cth!!!

Hope you did well at the track a few weeks ago and we still need to meet up. Are you going to Cars for Tots in Westlake village?

Oh and no bullet holes yet but I do get pulled over a lot. Funny thing is my screen name on the Benz forums is E55Cent. Gangsta

The quality of the Stewart Warner gauges that come in the Mini kit are not good guages IMHO.

I replaced them with the AutoMeter Ultra Lite.

The best gauge I have used was ISSPRO for my Ford Diesel truck.

Greddy's Warning series is silver backed, orange light, which is exactly what the mini's lighting are:
http://www.optionimports.com/16000821.html
that said, not cheap, they are electric though

i have their japanese ones called the SMI which has a single hub controlling the gauges, green glow white backed though

im hoping to add one or 2 more gauges to my cluster, unfortunately... the 60mm SMI gauges are hard to come by here, wanting to go with their 52mm for my oil temp and water temp gauge, means i have to go with their white backed, orange glow gauges, which is fine, but..... then it'd clash with my other greddy gauges!

hope that made some sense, good luck mario

42draftdesigns is a good company to buy through. I had several good experiences with them. Bought all my MKIV Jetta gauges through them.

I like some of those... Quite nice. Has anyone actually installed any of these gauges and can speak to their quality and ease of installation? Being Taiwanese, I wonder how (un)clear the instructions will be, and I've never performed this install before.

Also, can anyone recommend a good PILLAR MOUNT for a gauge of this kind, and/or a mounting solution that does not cost hundreds of dollars for a custom-cast mounting bracket?

Looks like Autometer is making a through-the-numbers gauge now... while LED illumination but it can PROBABLY be sleeved or re-LED'd to another color, check Summit Racing... Auto Meter Ultra-Lite II, 30 in Hg, 30PSI boost gauge.
