just bought a used set from a NAM member (thanks MrDangerPants!) bought them so my beloved puppy doesn't ruin my leatherette now that my car is almost 4 years old! but thinking about my girlfriend and winter now, was wondering if anyone knows about the heated seats still working with the covers on? anyone with experience? does the heat not come through at all? does it come through but a little less? any info is appreciated!

 

What kind of fabric are the seat covers? Cause my seats do a great job of sending heat through any kind of pants I'm wearing, thick or thin. If you give them enough time, they will eventually heat up the seat covers and then your bum.

 

thanks Rally. i think they're a kind of acrylic fabric but they're lined on the under side, that's why i had the questions.

 

Girlfriend? I would consider actually getting the seat covers on as soon as possible. I took mine in a sparkly sexy dress. of course the sparkles got evverryywhereee and was a PITA to clean up. Needless to say ... i'm not allowing her back in the MINI with sparkles ... at least not until i get seat covers. =)

 

Seat cover should be fine. I've had no trouble feeling the heat through a heavy waterproof rain jacket.
