chromed plastic

Does anyone know where I could get some plastic pieces chromed?? Is this possible?

As long as it is ABS plastic, it can be chromed.

I have used this company to get the hood scoop chromed
(before the inserts and the chrome eom parts were available)
and they did a good job:

I have change my mind. The company that was going to do it changed the cost. They said $225 for the dash in vaccum plating. Then they told me it wouldnt look "Show" and I needed to do another type of plating they offered. They wanted $650 for this! I said No Way.

I know it's a bummer, but that price is actually pretty fair. Even with a metal part, getting a "show-chrome" finish on a piece the size of a dash would cost you more than $650. The finish you were originally quoted $225 for would probably be similar to the chrome plastic finish you see on window cranks and door lock buttons on American cars - it looks fine for small parts, but would look like crud over the vast expanse of a dash.
