I've got the rubber tray insert that goes around the cig lighter:

and was considering getting the organizer:

From the picture it appears that this particular console organizer (there are 2 available at myminiparts) will fit around my rubber part?

Does anyone have experience with this?

on my '06 I had to remove the rubber insert to install the same organizer you pictured. First time i tried it without removing the rubber tray and it would go in but didn't really seat properly until I removed the rubber tray. I still use it (I like the extra CD storage space) but the downside is the case for my sunglasses that fit perfectly in the rubber tray is too big to fit under the organizer.
