Luckaly, I just did this about 2 months ago! I went to lowes and picked up some spray enamel specifically for plastic. I also picked up spray primer and spray clear. After the whole thing was said and done, it turned out pretty well.

I don't think the brand matters. Just make sure you use the same brand for all of your materials.

Good luck!!!

If you can find the right color, Krylon Fusion for plastic would work well.
If not, you'll be visiting a body shop for the correct color.

You can get factory color match paint in different quantities. Make sure you give it a decent sanding and use an adhesion promoter designed for plastic if you want it to last.

Save yourself the money and send it to a body shop. I tried to do it myself, and it didn't turn out too well. For some reason I was never able to reproduce the glossy look that paint should have.

Here is my interior after I sent the panels to a paint and body shop.

And in case you were wondering what it looked like when I TRIED to do it myself:

ok well i started the process tonight. lets see how it will turn out im doing it piece by piece to make sure its going to come out alright. I have the primer on right now. Im using rust-oleum plastic primer. Im also using house of kolor paint. I have a pro. spray gun and a small sudio so i will be able to do all the work in there. Im pretty sure i wont have any trouble re-creating the glossy look. Ill post pictures tomorrow of the finished A/C Rings.

ok so far for my test pieces i have 1) sanded them 2) used a paint thinner to clean them 3) sprayed the primer coat 4) used a heat gun to dry them 5) now sprayed the top coat. The top coat will dry overnight and in the morning I will color sand and then shoot the clear.

You need a lot more than just one coat of paint. The best way is to do several very thin layers with wetsanding in between each.
