I have a pair of Factory aero side skirts but unfortunatly im missing the mounting brackets.(these are the long black plastic mouldings that fix to the skirt and then attach the skirt to the underside of the car) Unfortunatly in the uk my local mini/bmw dealer does not have a seperate part number for this part.,and his computor screen only shows the skirt as one piece.But ive been told these are available in germany and do have a part number.I wonder if they are available to buy in the STATES or if someone could please get a part number for me.and check that its different to the skirt its self.
Other wise im faced with scrapping two perfect aero skirts that i cant fit correctly!

 

im not sure what the procedure is for you in the UK but here in the states they are supposed to come w/ the skirts.
when i recvd my boxes (2) only the right side had the mounting bracket but the left side was missing it's bracket. i went back to the parts dept and explained my situation and they called bmw and promptly got me the missing bracket. you shouldnt be charged for the shipping or the parts...

be sure all the mounting parts are included as well. (the clips, etc)

by the way, did you remember to get the little grill inserts? those you have to pay for

 

As mentioned before, call or email Classic MINI, they are listed in the Vendor Directory. I've ordered individual parts from them in the past and they are very, very helpful. As a matter of fact I had to order some additional mounting pieces for a side skirt just yesterday. Go to page ten and you will see that you need the side skirt mountings, they'll be able to look up the correct part number. It doesn't matter who you get at the parts counter, they're all friendly and helpful.
