Has anybody seen or know where to buy an interior chrome kit for MINI's WITH navigation???

I am having a heck of a time finding this anywhere!:impatient

I want the cheaper ABS version, and would like to find somewhat of a complete kit. I can order the ones that are not for NAV, but too many of the pieces would not be able to be used. I actually went to MOSS MOTORS today and test fit some of the pieces...I figured that I could ditch the speedo ring that came with the kit and buy another ring for the NAV screen that I have seen for sale seperate. I also thought I could buy another ring for the speedo and tach. To my surprise the tach ring in this kit is larger than the tach on my car with NAV. There was just too much that does not fit!!!

Somebody has got to make a complete kit for cars with NAV without buying expensive OEM or the $500.00 real chrome kit I have seen on Mini Mania.

Any direction on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

Wow, this is the real MINI stuff right? I wonder if it is plastic or metal? You add the rear cupholder and it is close to $300! Pretty expensive and still does not have some of the pieces that the other kits come with such as the door speaker trim. This is sweet though anyway. This is frustrating because there are soooo many kits available for the standard cockpit and nothing aftermarket for cars with NAV! It cant be that hard, It is just a different shaped ring for the NAV screen and 2 of the rings instead of one for the tach and speedo.

Before I cash in on this....The search continues....

I suggest you e-mail Classic MINI for NAM discount prices on the OEM pieces. An OEM set may be more affordable than you might think, compared with aftermarket. In any case, most of the aftermarket chrome kits are not true replacements for the trim rings, but just accent bezels that stick onto the top edge.

 

We only carry the Genuine MINI interior trim pieces. They are chromed plastic and made by MINI to match the fit and finish perfectly. The interior jit comes as a package. The Tach is an add-on option. The standard tach ring is simply a ring. The Tach Rings for the Nav package are actually two rings conected in the center, so it is one piece. The Nav ring has a flat bottom edge to accommodate the Nav screen and is also an add on to the package. The base package included bezels for Speedo, Hazard/Dimmer switches, 2 cupholders, Shifter Ring and 2 air vents.
