Been trying for months to get a company to do a semi custom stipe for me no luck as no one seems to want to produce graphic for the roadster spoiler.
Wow, alot cool stripes here!
Two questions for me to ask before installing a custom never saw before stripes
1. Did you clay bar the hood before installing the stripes? Wax over the stripes?
2. For the stripes that goes through the passenger wiper hole, how hard was it to cut around it and for the MCS badge in front of the hood same question.

Probably be easier to take the wiper off and then cut a small hole to slide over the stud that is there, making the hole bigger as needed as you go. The Front badge is only 2 sided taped down. No bolts holding it, though there is a small "stud" persay that sticks thru a hole in the hood but is not helping hold it on. You can either trim around it once you vinyl is good and dry, or take some fishing line and "saw" off the badge and re-tape it down with some High Bond 3M tape.
I love what you've done with your R53! Did you use Plastidip on the headlights or something permanent?
This is exactly what I want to do to my pepper white 2006. I know where to get the stripes but does anyone know where to get them installed properly in Arizona? Any help is appreciated.
Great thread - getting my stripe continued down the boot this week and got a couple ideas on some details I hadn’t thought of. Namely continuing the stripe over the piece just above the license plate. I notice most have left this piece unstriped but I like it striped like Jahmills!
decided to airbrush my new hood
So been wanting to actually airbrush my hood myself for over 6 years, saved up and got a brand new mini oem hood, had it painted and cleared from a body shop, picked it up, sanded the clear coat, and free handed my idea. hood scoop and then the stripes i had masked off and painted in chameleon HOK paint, 390.00 a pint. then finished the stripes with a green blade edge, can't see it to good in the pic's. now just have to get it re-cleared and buff it and then I'm going to pout it on in the spring

Awesome looking MINI! It makes a big difference carrying the stripes through the hood scoop... I always wonder why so many people leave it blank. Bringing the stripes down to the splitter takes it to another level.
Any head on pics you can post?
