Interior/Exterior SHOW us your MINI stripes
here's our new ones -
no it's not the sun or the angle of the camera - the stripes start out full checkered black and white then fade out the checker to a solid white
matches nicely with the Team Minspeed banner I run for Pete. (and yes those stripes can be purchased from Minspeed but you need to tell him you want Jamie's stripes as they were designed for us and not a standard product

Now that Minspeed is no more (looks like it closed in early 2010 - Cancer, damn unlucky mate!
), does anyone know where I can get this style stripes, but with the black and white reversed for my Ice Blue/Black top MCa?Also, has anyone put these checker-into-stripes down the side of their mini? Love to see some photos of that, if so. Thanks!
This picture has me inspired! Just picture if this car were entirely black and the white section down the middle WAS the stripe? Basically just a super wide center stripe with the same curvature of the sport stripes, just in negative. I think that would look amazing and have yet to see someone do it.
ParsedOut - That's waht I thought it was when I first looked at it. I had to stare at for a minute to understand that it is a white MCS with black stripes. A "FATTY" stirpe on a MCS with hood scoop might look good.
The roof of the car was the standard black factory paint but the checks are flat black. The installer just covered the roof with a large wrap that had flat checks with cutout(squares) that had no film and unrolled it over the roof.
As far as the mirrors, I just cut up some of the left over flat squares/checks and put them on the mirror my self.
The company that installed the roof wrap was one of the companies in St Louis that does the wraps for commercial vehicles.

Ok, no new posts for awhile but hopefully a few can post their opinions
I've been flipping btw red and silver viper stripes for while for my EG roadster but after seeing the car (fiiiinally) red is out. So now I'm caught btw met. Silver or straight up chrome stripes. There's quite a bit of chrome on the car but the rims are silver. I just don't know if the chrome would be hot or tacky. What do you guys think? Thanks
