2006 Top Dash Pad Removal ?

I'm installing a Mini shift indicator which involves removing top dash pad. After looking at many threads and removing the four screws behind left and right panels by doors I found two screws near top of center gauge cluster not mentioned in other threads that have to come out. Still, my dash pad won't budge.
Anyone remove one from a 2006 with chrono?
Thanks for your help in advance.

I have read somewhere on here that in order to remove the top dash in the 2005 and 2006 MINIs, you have to remove the windshield. If you find out otherwise, let us know, as I have been wondering how to remove it for quite some time now too.

Ten screws later and still no luck.

I found many many more screws that needed to be removed and still no luck. First there are four hidden behind panel above glove box, two more above where center gauge cluster is just above trim ring. Also have to remove tach (two screws) and directly above steering column behind tach location there are two more torx screws. Moving to the top center defrost vent, remove two caps on either side to reveal two more torx screws. Now the front defroster near windshield there are four more. Two near drivers side and two near passenger side. Also the four screws behind panels on the left and right sides of the dash visible with both doors open. If you think you are able to remove the dash, think again. It will not budge. There are still more screws holding it down somewhere.
