the weight savings for the CF hood are 19 lbs. if i were to paint it i would only paint along the hood following the headlight shape. dont know if you know what i'm talking about. hard to explain.

Needs to be painted, unless you have a black car. I like the stealth look though

Yes, basically I ordered and paid for the trunk for $438 including shipping. I didn't get a tracking number for almost 2 weeks. Then I mysteriously get a refund. I call and ask WTF?!? and I get a response from Chris (illstreet) that they no longer carry the trunk and it was replaced with a newer version. But, I know they had more stock. I then called ViS and they said there is no newer version trunk. On illstreets website...it has the same pic, listing and part number as before. I call them on it and they said it wasn't updated yet. Illstreet told me ViS doesn't know what they are talking about (yet they are the manufacturer) Basically, they did not want to sell me the trunk for that low of a price and did a seller no-no. It's actually ILLEGAL. I have researcheed it. BOOOOOOO. Now, back on topic!

Why not add the S Bonnet to your MINI? Can't hurt to get a little extra air in there.
That aside I like the the non-S look and also would be interested?
