I have the Black leather w red cloth... I really like it. I've only had it one week and already treated the leather with Griot's Leather Care twice, it smells sooooooo goooood. If I had leatherette, I'd still slather Groits all over it. Hopefully it will keep the leather moist and supple and keep drying and cracks away longer.
I slop it on at night, and in the morning, just buff it with a soft cloth. I suggest you get the 55 gal drum size, the bottle MTees pretty fast. My next order to Groits will have a large bottle of this stuff on it.

your car has the rotating lumbar adjustment ****? i've looked at several older MINIs and not seen this on any with leatherette...
maybe i'm blind, but i don't see the ***** in post #15 either.
