"///MINI" M-series logo?

Has anyone modded a BMW "///M" logo (from the back of an M3, M5, etc.) so that it reads "///MINI"? I saw a sale on ebay that made me thing of this...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...QQcmdZViewItem

I guess some would think it's a bit cheesy, everytime I see a kid in a Nissan sentras, 240's, etc with GT-R logos from the Nissan Skyline I laugh. Is an M logo on a MINI just as bad?

Maybe just doing the slashes /// from the M logo would be subtle enough and still kinda get the point across.

IMO, I'd say yes, but do what makes you happy. It's all about the youification not the themification.

To each their own ...

IMO, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery ... sounds like you'd rather have a M car.

The ///M badge on a MINI might actually look pretty cool if the size is right. I'd have to see it... I also have to see the AMG badge on the Smart. That would be awesome!

I won't be going off putting the TRD badge on my parents Prius

I know a guy who put Mercedes V12 badges on the C-pillars of his Smart, just as a little joke.

You're going to have some purist tell you it's a no no to do this. Then you'll have some people with insane imaginations that will tell you do this. You spent the money on the car, do what ever you want. You don't need anybody's approval, unless of course they make the monthly payment on the car.
