Hey all. Sorry if this has ben talked about in another thread, but i searched and didn't find anything...

Anyways, I was wondering if it was possible to get the backing for the tac and speedo on the GP. They are the really dark color which will match the look of my car perfectly. Also, what would the logistics be in replacing the existing backing with the new one?

It can be done, however:

-There is another thread right in here talking about gauge faces, and there are about 2-3 companies working on it. GP colours are being requested

-I believe MINI only sells the entire speedo/tach and not the faces alone. You would need a GP VIN number to order it, or a big in at a MINI parts dept.

 

I know. I called my delaer today and they are $280 and $580 for the tac and speedo respectivley, plus you need the gp vin.... O well.. Where is this thread you posted?
