I tried a similar project last summer, but it ended up the trash because I couldn't solve the LED issue.
I've heard if you put several layers of wax paper behind it it'll work, but I've never tried it. Supposivly the wax paper will defuse the LED's and thus spread them out.

Yea...that is pretty much what I am talking about (figuring out how to properly difuse the light from the LEDs). Keep us updated...I would like to see if your method works or not .

sweet. we have the same granite counters . Mine is on the website as well, but the night shot on the home page, top banner, switching between the colored day union jack and my blue night shot with lights on.

We are both stars, haha
