parcel shelf install w/o instructions, help

I "installed" my euro parcel shelf tonight. I bought it from Classic MINI in Cleveland. It came with no instructions.

Based on what I read here and the parts in the box, I could guess how it goes in.

The problem: it came with 4 screws: 2 silver, 2 dark. I used the dark ones to screw into the blue doodads, but I can't figure out what the other 2 screws are for. Can anyone tell me, please?

PS: The shelf seems really solid.

The two screws and blue clips are the only ones I used for mine. Not sure why you got four.

They often include two sets - black for stealth, silver for bling.
Euroshelf rocks.

I did it right by accident.

One side benefit in the '06: with the parcel shelf, I can unscrew, lower and separate the downtubes. I had to pull out the bolster before -- the shelf's cutaway shape makes removing center console items easier. (See my aux port installation woes.)
