Rust Prevention Measures? (for installing driving lights)

I'm getting prepared to install some Hella Black Magic driving lights on my MCS. The OEM driving light installation instructions say that after drilling the mounting holes in the grill, you should "apply standard rust preventative measures" to the holes.

Does anyone have suggestions for what to use? Should I just dab on some rustoleum primer or something like that?

thanks

something like that rustoleum primer would be just fine.

I didn't do anything when I installed my driving lights. . . .
