OK, I have a 2002 MCS with the standard shift ****. The metal ring is bloody cold in Winter, and I bet it will be damned hot in Summer (although the way this year is going I wouldn't be suprised if we skipped summer and went right back to winter  )

I've looked everywhere, and all I see is metal shift *****. Is there, somewhere, a leather, or composite shift ****, that has the proper 6 speed markings?

Shift **** Link I know that the Whalen **** is metal, and you don't want it to get cold, but it really isn't that bad. It looks great too! RSpeed offers a "crinkle powder coat ****" that doesn't get as cold as most *****. If you really want something that will not get really cold or really hot, then check out MOMO. They have some great leather ***** that should do the trick

I wonder how STONE will be, as far as retaining heat and cold?

I've got them just about perfected for use with my mounting mechanism, and I'll be looking for a couple people to try them out, gratis, (El Freebo)!

If I knew how to post a pic here, I'd show you one.

Thanks, Cheese!

As soon as I find a good way to round off the sharp corner around the hole,
they'll be on the market. (notice the chipping?)

Any lapidaries here??? I need some ideas.

Doug

Wouldn't stone get just as cold as aluminum? I think it wouldn't get a hot, not sure though.

Actually, everything in the car will attain the same temperature.
The question is, how easily would stone transfer heat or cold?

We'll find out soon!

Yes, but I've never sat naked on stainless steel in winter or summer, so I can't do a scientific comparison using that method.

I wanted to know the same thing.
In Phoenix, the thing just gets to hot!
I want an all leather one...a nice looking one.
Not some tuner looking piece.

Well that was bloody useless ... all the ***** I see are either metal, or look like something that should be on a street rod.

And thanks for the link, but I don't fancy sitting on my shift ****!

I thought the black and grey swirl looked cool. It was rather discreet but still custom. I have the WHALEN SHIFT MACHINE..... It kicks *** and is worth every nickel. Once you see it, you can appreciate the workmanship. The heft is wild.
