Interior/Exterior Yellow vs other colors in maintenance & fading
Ok did a search but found not posts.
Many have commented, not surprisingly, that black and blue shows up dirt/scratches very quickly. Black is particularly demanding to keep shining clean. On the opposite spectrum, silver doesn't show dirt much.
Where does YELLOW fall in this spectrum? does dust/dirt show easily? Does scratches? Please comment.

I agree.
My Yellow looks good.
But the rear boot does seem to collect dust.
My black roof shows more wear than any of the yellow.
One big reason is that the yellow isn;t dark nor is it metallic like some of the darker colors.
I love the yellow!
I am just beginning to wish that I got a yellow roof instead of black.
I think I will put a vinyl graphic ip there to add some color and protect the finish.

I have a Liquid Yellow S, and I like the color. I think that you would notice the dirt on the boot of any light colored Mini. Lots of spray.
An interesting note...apparently the yellow may fade a little. My car is a 2003, with delivery in December. I had a rear end accident, and just got it out of the body shop last week. THey did a great job, but the manager mentioned that he wasn't happy with the first paint job. The paint on the new hatch didn't quite feather in very well with the back quarter panels. Ultimately, I can't tell the difference now, because it is all feathered together nicely. I can't tell if my paint has really weathered significantly, either. Only had it for 4 months.

Sounds like a bad paint job. Paints shops are supposed to match the paint.

I have a ly/b and I noticed i dont see dust that much, but bugs are drawn to it like magnets! after I wash it and dry it, I'll go into the house to fix myself a drink and when I come back out, every fly, bee, bug, in the neighborhood is on the car, not just the bonnet mind you but, quarterpanel, to boot, they avoid the black parts, but congregate on the yellow. :???:
