I <3 the R105's.

I was so tempted to get AB instead of SR and go aerokit with the R105's, but then I thought better of it. They do look awesome though.

I'm using 4 OutMotoring Mounts (except when I bought them they were not on sale like they are now) they are really sturdy for the big lights that I have

I'm running H-sport springs, Alta Swaybar and very little sidewall... a little rough on brick roads, but awesome on track day I'm looking into getting some OZ 17" Matt Black Ultraleggeras and Yoko A0484

How did you finish your door handles in black? I was turned down by a body shop because the handles are chromed plastic. The only solution I could come up with was to sand, use an etching primer and use a sturdy spray paint. This was recent, so I'm not sure how well it is going to hold up. Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Find a different shop. A couple of local places turned the work down for me too. I just kept looking and found a great place that did them and my gascap and the headlight chrome rings as well. Now I just need to get the MINI wings removed from the rear hatch. I already got the front one removed. This is the only exterior chrome left on mine!

The shop that did mine never even questioned it... He did an awesome job on all the parts and is working his forth MINI for the same mod, but not all are blackouts, some are going with body color Handles,Cap and headlight surrounds. We started with one set and when they get painted the person who has them installed gives the originals to the next owner for their flavor... it's worked out pretty well so far.

It is not often that I see a very one-of-a-kind MINI that looks so good, nice work.

Oh man That is hot. I love your style. I'm not doing a total blackout, but it's close. Black sign vinyl is good to use on some things. I covered the red on the S logo on the back, and I used it to cover the painted piece under the lower aero grill. Much easier than painting and it is reversible. Heres mine:

Thanks

Stock headlight surrounds are done, just need to to pull the Carbon Fiber ones off and put the painted ones on...so I'll be selling my Carbon Fiber Surrounds in a couple weeks.
