My MINI is at the VPC. It's CR/B with factory black bonnet stripes. I've already contacted Mike of Aestheticreations.net about adding boot stripes (luckily he's in AZ)!

Anyway, had I known what I do now (because of NAM!) I would have ordered my MINI without stripes and did something custom w/Mike.

So, I am now thinking what aboot the boot.

Should I use a white/black pin for the boot? A different style? Maybe checkered?

I don't want to muck it up but with all the creative stuff that goes on with MINI owner's I thought I'd check with the experts.

Thoughts, opinions, pics?

Mike made a variation of the checkmate stripe for my S and I like it a lot as it's different and surrounds the hood scoop just right. Instead of the solid "U" shape, he made it in an outline of the perimeter [about half and inch wide] and called it a "Ghost Stripe". Ask him about it if this appeals to you and give him my name so he can reference it.

He also supplied the same type of outline for my boot.
