Aero kits or Ground Effects

Can someone point me in the right direction on where to find some kits for my 05 HO MCSC. I'm tired of trying not to get wax on the molding, and they look a hell of alot better. I like the silver mesh too

Thanks in advance for your help.

Kim

Well, there is no OEM kit that will replace the wheel arches. The aero kit DOES replace the trim on the rockers, lower front bumper, and the lower rear bumper with painted pieces. There are a handful of people that pay a body shop to have all the trim sanded and painted. It is difficult to find someone to do it and stand behind it. Most body shops won't even bother.

Not to discourage, but it is hard to find someone to do it. (In my case at least.) It really does look good though.

Kim, I think the first question you need to ask yourself is how radical do you want to go? Do you want to keep it stock looking or aggressive? I think there's a thread somewhere in here that has a large number of kits on minis but most of them keep the stock look, but none the less awesome looking machines. Unfortunately, for the cabrio the choices are limited and most of the kits require mods (more on this later) unless it is specifically for the cabrio. I own an '06 CB Cabrio and I'm in the process of getting a kit installed and done tons of research on this and choices are limited. Here are some links, I know there are a lot more out there, so anybody please chime in...

Wide fender look:

click on the bmw/new mini box. They make a kit specifically for the Cabrio but is not cheap. Good looking though IMHO.

This one has both the wide look as well as the stock fenders. This is the one thats being put on mine but some mods were needed since they don't have one specifically for the cabrio. Easier on the wallet and IMHO very good looking.

I know there's a lot more out there so I'll post more as I go through my list. Good luck on you search.

This site has a number of different kits available:
