flame headlights???

I am looking at these inserts for my '06 MC. anyone ever use them? Will they peel off after only a short while? Do they limit the amount of light coming out and are they legal? Thanks!!!

I thought they looked neat. And then I can get flame side marker plates to match! I don't know if they are too aggressive looking for a MC, not MCS.

Are you going to get some Dayton 100-spokes with wide whitewalls too? Sorry, it looks too 'lowrider' for my tastes. But hey, if you like them it is your car.

They'll probably give some funky shadows, they're legal and based on the pics designed to fit around a pre 05 headlamp so you may find them blocking tins of light, esp. the highbeams.

Won't see me putting any on my MINI until they find a way to make the headlamps shoot flame at the guy who just cut me off, but thats a completely different story.

Not sure about durability.

Looking at them again, I think motor on is right on that these are made ideally for the 2002-2004 headlight assemblies.

I won't comment on the styling as that is a personal thing. . . .

Without meaning to be rude, what styling cues do you find interesting with having chrome flames over your headlights? I'm just curious.

Not my taste but hey, to each their own. It would be interesting to see the light pattern and loss if any once applied.

However, what i wanted to point out was this on the ebay listing.

Quote " Based on the success of the PT Cruiser Chrome trim pieces " Unquote

Am I the only one starting to see more and more references between the two vehicles.

ok, i am not so sure about them. I bought them anyhow. I will lay them over it, if I don't like the way they look i'll sell them or leave them in the closet for a few years lol. I will definitely lay them on top at night and turn the lights on to see what happens. I'll post pics anyway of them so you guys can see. I like the idea of them. As far as the references between PT and MINIs: I saw a site for PTs and they seem to want to race minis more than not like them.

o yeah, and with the "styling cues" : I am getting plates for my car which are CUPC8KE. Thought it would be like "baking" of the cupcake.
