Just called in my order for some removable bonnet stripes- black to go on my PS/B MC. Supposedly they'll stay on very well w/ just the "static cling" of the vinyl. Anyone else have these already? Easy to put on, etc? They also have the UK roof flag in the same material, and someone posted that they didn't like the way it covered the sunroof (I'd be expecting that if I covered mine!)- if they had the sliver Union Jack, I'd try it. Also ordered the cool checker flag- Union Jack metal stick-on badge from Triple C. MINI will look just a bit more Brit

I saw them on minicooperparts.com and plan on ordering them too. I'd also like to know how well they cling and how long they last. fms I also bought the UJ checker flag badge and a euro plate on ebay!

Will they stay n when you wash the car, or do you have to be extra careful when you do it? Can you put them back on if you remove them?

Well I ordered these and put them on the car today... the bonnet ones only though. They were not hard to put on, just took time to align them right and then get out the air bubbles. It seems that they are a little too long so you have to curl them over the top of the bonnet, and I found that they didnt stick on the underside. I had to use a small piece of tape to hold the underside. The top side, however, appears to stick VERY well! The set includes two for the rear hatch as well, although I am not as sure how I am going to put both of them on without removing the CooperS badge. Any one got any ideas there?

I was curious about these bonnet stripes too, I just wish they offered them with the ruled edge..

I got these, fussed w/ them for about about an hour to get them on, and in the end, I pulled them back off. I just couldn't make my peace w/ them. They had to be trimmed, which was quite a challenge to start with, and then no matter what I did I still couldn't get them smooth enough. From a distance they weren't bad, but look closely and they looked like an afterthough. Might be different w/ white ones, but the black ones on my silver MC just didn't cut it. I was afraid to oversqueegee them, for fear of putting marks on the hood. Because they're trimmed, I'm sure I won't be able to return them. Oh well, a $37 experiment. Worth a try, I suppose, but after this experience, I'll let the professionals do my vinyl work for me!!
