Yakima rack mounted (M 1 - 4 measures)
Okay so I mounted my Yakima yesterday and instead of the 18 inches I spread the bars 30.5" apart. I have a 9' 6" longboard to carry.
My question is with the differential of the Q Tower spacing, front versus rear. The front bar is recommended to be 36.5" while the rears are supposed to be 37 3/8ths or so.... the rear bar's rubber feet don't sit as solidly as the front...
Would it be an issue to have the Q Tower spacing the same on the rear as the front? I'm about to try it.
