Rust proof driving light install?

Just wonder how do you installed your driving light (the OEM style i.e. PIAA, Hella F200...) in order to made them rust proof. I am worried about the drilling may induce rust in a few years later. Esp. the front grille area will have lots of water and moisture.

if you drill a clean hole and use screws that are a snug fit, it shouldn't
rust that much, if at all. i would monitor it once a year or whenever
you have the bonnet opened for any accelerated rusting and just
replace the screw as needed.

Just smear silicone sealant over the bolt before you pass it through the hole. It will coat the hole and seal it up from the elements and prevent corrosion. I've also put liberal amounts of touch-up paint on holes I've had to drill in painted metal on cars for various reasons.

honestly, im pretty sure your car will rust faster in other areas unless
you completely screwed up the install.
