I would rather make my car a BMW than a MINI just to be different than the other 99.99% of the MINI population out there.

It makes me feel good knowing I have the only 2004 BMW ///M Hatch out there.

Why try

And I am going to buy a Fairlane and badge it a Shelby Mustang...

How about a Scion Tc...but lets call it a Lexus Tc L'Tuned!!!

Or what about the new Honds Civic....I have Acura T-Spec Badges for that one!

When I grow up, I want all the BMW's, but for now I have a MINI..I am proud of that.

I just call them like I see them

oh no, I didn't mean to make it sound like you don't like MSFITOY's car. What I was trying to figure out is if you didn't like the ///MCS or the M colors. I was just going to say that if you didn'tl ike the ///MCS then why would you think the colors are ok. You cleared it up for me so now I understand.

Personally M badging shouldn't go on a Mini, I agree. But I don't think he's trying to say it's an M. He's saying ///MCS Power or ///MCS or whatever. I think it's kind of neat and original. The colors go great with the car too, so I say go for it.

I think the decal on MSFITOY's car is (was) awesome...the colors looked nice. M Power had to go though! LOL

You're getting an M3...notice any similiarities between the M3 and the MCS?

Secondly...Yes, I think that putting any ///M badging on a MINI is lame...It's not an M...
Now that is not read: "Because that sticker I don't like his car" I love msfitoy's car...and how it looks now is amazing...almost made me change my mind about keeping my MINI...but I sold it (pending) and picking up my m3 later this week.

Also, I don't have a problem with waht rick is doing, if you are assuming that too. The car has tons of parts that still have BMW stamped on them, but he is not trying to put something on the car that it is not.

Putting M badging on a MINI is worse than people that put it on their 318's...it's not an M.

I'm assuming, that first, you like the idea of the sticker. Second, you don't like driving a MINI? Why else would you try to say its an M? You can't enjoy your own badge?

Personally, I think using the M colors is acceptable as long as you do it in the correct spirit...ie, on a plain stock Cooper, no...M on a Honda, hell NO...well modified as a M Mini might have been done, why not?...

BTW...Mine only used the colors...There is no application of M...

Likewise, there's nothing wrong with a Gulf colored Mini even Gulf never sponsored a Mini...Beautiful ain't it?

Agree 100%! The colors were tastefully done.

I hope that I enjoy the Mini as much as the M3. I will receive the Mini soon and just by test driving some friends' MCS, I can already feel some real similarities. OBviously not in acceleration, but twisties and high speed turns feel just as good as the M3. I can't wait to get this MCS

...no plans to put on any "M" notations quite yet!

There's a goal? How come I didnt know about this goal. Did we vote on this?

And to think, I thought the goal was to do whatever you want to do with the car that you spent all that money on so that it looks like yours and not everyone elses. No, maybe that was my goal. Never mind.
