Wow, bad photo! It's hard to see what it would actually look like. Seems fairly nice, though. Not too restrained, not too flamboyant.

That one you linked is nasty!!! That urathane look didn't look good on my 1986 VW Scirocco. Still doesn't look right. Yuck.

If I just *had* to change around the spoiler, I'd go with the Aero Kit spoiler. You could buy it cheap at Classic Auto Campus.

Hmm, if that's the finished look, I revise my opinion to yuck. I was assuming it was matte/unpainted.

Here's mine with the Aero Kit spoiler. I had the Cooper S spoiler removed (two screws and some double back tape) and then had the pre-painted aerokit spoiler ($270) installed ($60) and then sold my Cooper S spoiler ($100).

i'm also curious about the difference between the standard S spoiler and the aero kit spoiler.

DiD, do you have some before/after pics for comparison?

I'm fascinated to see the differences between the "aero kit" spoiler and the MCS spoiler! DiD, spill the beans

Cheers,

Here is my spoiler, in England it is an optional extra and it not the standard cooper spoiler either, it is bigger. To look go to .. The areo spoiler does not have a hole in it wereas the mcs spoiler does, hope this helps.

3 quick thigns. 1: Do you have a stock cooper spoiler or S spoiler? 2: I know a lot of acronymns but what is P.M.? .. Personal messege?? 3. My Mini is in the mail still, so i was wondering if the soiler needs new holes if you don't have a spoiler already that is) or are they fitted to the latch/hinge somehow.

I agree it looks like C.G. to me as well. I rather see it in person before buying.

Here is a review of all the MINI spoilers. The Aerokit spoiler is totally different than either the Cooper or Cooper S spoiler (see below)

The Cooper with no spoiler

The Cooper Spoiler

The Cooper S Spoiler

The MINI Aero Kit Spoiler

The aerokit spoiler does not have a gap under it like the Cooper S spoiler, and IMO it looks a little more integrated with the roofline of the MINI.

time to kick up this lovely old thread but heres the question, what companies are good and reliable with a good price (haha is there such a thing?) that offer different spoilers (mostly looking for the S spoiler) but colored?
