Help with wiring lights question

Ok, y'all have helped so much that I'm back!!!

I have ordered the clear Altezza tail lights and hope they will be here soon.

I currently have the rear fog light, which is red. I don't want the red and never use the light. Can I....
A. replace it with a clear one? Does the clear one have the option for trading out the bulb to be like a stealth bulb, looks silver but lights up amber?

or, what I'd really like to do is....

Take out the red fog, replace with clear and wire it to come on with the reverse lights. Then can I use the existing fog light toggle and hook up driving lights to that? Or do the driving lights have to be wired to come on with the high beams?

Most of all, does anyone know where I can find a clear rear fog replacement? I have done many searches but I keep getting listings for the front fogs and not the rear single center one!

Thanks all,
Annette

Um, could you order a clear backup light assembly for an 02-04 MINI? Don't they fit in the same hole?

That's what I'm trying to order but I can't seem to find a listing. Do you have to get that from a MINI dealer or do others sell it?

That would be a dealer item. E-mail Classic or Sterling, they should be able to get you a price. You might try asking for one on the for sale board. Somebody might be willing to take one off a race car . . .

I think this may be what you are looking for. It replaces the red fog with a white and has the jumpers to make it come on with the reverse lights.

Yay, that's the light! I have done a search on every NAM vendor for either backup or reverse and got nothing. I was just about to start on my list of other vendors but you beat me to it!! Thanks alot.
So, does anyone have any idea if I can use the leftover toggle (from what was the rear fog) to turn on my driving lights when I get them installed, or is there a specific reason most people wire them to the high beams (legal, electrical or something)?
