Interior/Exterior Oil Dipstick

Oil Dipstick

I have a **** in the middle of the oil dipstick that has now bent to the point of possible breakage. Has anyone had this happen before? It appeared as an imperfection when new and after 19k miles is now close to breaking.

There used to be a replacement in one of the catalogs that had a MINI logo handle but I have failed to find it now that I need one! Any other replacement possiblities? Hope to find a solution soon.

That should be covered under warrenty. I wouldnt buy a new one, ask the dealer for one!

I think Moss motors had the one with the MINI logo handle. It only works on the Cooper not the S. I bet if you swing by the dealer they'll warranty that bent one for you.

Yep, that one is WAY too short for the S
