The Ultimate Mini Project...

Hey...we're back JS is on schedule to bring the Aero Wing down for the Dragon. He is also working on another top secret M7 performance project that we hope to be completed in time for the party. If timing works out, we hope to be modelling some of M7's best and brightest products on our Minis this year so do track us down if you want to BS. Finding us shouldn't be too hard as we'll be the ones grilling steaks in the parking lot while people are standing in line for their $22 gold plated hot dogs

One more thing...sketches for the "Wide Body Mini" is underway...I'll bring them for the Dragon. Remind me then and I'll pull them out for anyone interested

I thought it must be the buns that were gold plated for $22

You don't suppose this meal is sponsored by the "cross drilled brake line" company do you?

I'm really busy with other paying work so I hope to be able to sqeeze in some quality time into these sketches. More so than the rush jobs we're required at work. But rest assured, these will be finished, fully detailed renderings showing more than a widebody...other good stuff like custom mirrors, wings (beyond our Aero wing), integrated splitters, diffusers, massive IC ram intakes with integrated hood ventations

BTW...congradulations to Peter and Sam for bringing this vented panel into production. If all goes as planned, I should be modelling that as well at the Dragon Another reason to look for me besides the steaks...

Will the widebody only replace the arches and front/rear "lip"? How much will they cost? Roughly.

Probably a Zillion bucks dOOde...I have no clue...

Imagination will determine what I end up with. I'm going in without a limit in mind. Most likely, the doors and windshield will stay LOL...I might even do a chopped silouette version like the super Bs with midengine and AWD...depends how much time I end up

Yeah but is it a "real" widebody or "just" an addon-widebody. I mean a mini-widebody wouldn't be too hard with the MINI since all you have to do is alter the arch-bits. Are you thinking about making a kit that you have to mold to the car? That'd be a much bigger project.

It's only my stylus that stops me from making it 10 feet wide:impatient Of course it'll be a widebody...that why I said widebody...the rear will probably stick out 5" and front 3" from normal. For the midengine, it could be 10" at rear and 5" at the front I'll stop when it looks rediculous

Sounds like you're pretty far from a finished kit.

Can you post scans of the designs before you leave so those of us who can't make the Dragon could get a look?

Unfortunately, if I did that, I'd be giving away free ideas...maybe I shouldn't have mentioned this so soon...

It's okay I understand, I just won't know if I can make the Dragon until May 4, possibly May 2, but I'm interested in seeing your work.

That would be a very broad presumption. M7 and I are working on many joint ventures. However, I do have my own company to grow I'm very confident that both our companies will benifit from this collaboration in the long run...
