Compartment Cover Problem

I've had my Cooper S almost three years now. No major issues except those run flats, but that's another forum.

Recently, my compartment cover in the boot has been catching on the back windshield housing. I've had to remove the cover completely.

Has anyone else run into this problem and what remedies have you found useful?

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thanks,
SMF

It hapened to me after loading my runflat wheels in the back of the mini,I did not put the pannel in its space (on the floor betwen front and rear seats and it got leaned on by the load. I didn't notice any thing at first but it was bowed. If it is your case, just bend it back as it sem that this plastic material has no memory it will stay where you put it. I just flipped the thing all the way up on its hinges and with my hand pushed on the back side of the panel toward the front of the car, it took a couple of gentle pushs/check et voila!
Hope this helps
