OEM Shift **** install instructions?

I've searched and found plenty of instructions for the brute force method to remove the OEM shift ****. But I couldn't find anything about how to install another OEM shift ****.

I'm picking up my MCS on Saturday. If it's easy (i.e., no tools, glue, etc.) I want to replace my stock **** with an already purchased CR **** to match my CR interior.

So is it anything other than slam it on? I also don't want to be stuck driving 400 miles home with a half-assed shift **** application -- or worse, w/o a shift **** because I pulled an idiot move.

You push it on a little and then lign it up so the pattern is the right way. After that, you just push it down untill it locks into pace.

Push

I replaced my stock **** last.
I had to pull hard, but not as bad as I thought.
The **** I put on is one from Moss, and Mini specific, so it had a bar in the top (inside) like the stock ****. Just make sure the bar in the new **** (if it has one) lines up with the notch in the top of the shift lever. The push the new **** down until it seats into place. (Maybe give it a little tap with a rubber hammer to make sure.)
