I just received my aero kit from ebay for my 2006 MCS and stupid me I forgot to ask if it was for the S or regular cooper before I bid on it. I totally forgot about the rear being different. Now I am stuck with a rear that does not fit. I can see it will fit except for the exhaust outlets, is this true?
I was also wondering if I can just cut another opening on the left to match the stock right opening and have a muffler shop customize the exit pipes from an aftermarket cat system (ex. Megan, etc.) and have the exhaust pipes coming out through the two sides.

I really need all your help because my car is at the autobody shop right now, due to an accident to me driver's door, and I am also having them paint the black plastic moldings as well to match the car. My dilemma is to just leave the stock S rear bumper and have them just paint the black plastic moldings or switch out the new aero rear bumper and paint it as well to match the car color, and also cut the new left opening for a new exhaust outlet.

Unless you really want a dual exit system, I would go wit a nice one sided exhaust with a nasty like 4 or 5 inch tip! But in reality, I dont think u will get a clean look cutting out another hole, for it will never look as clean as factory unless this autobody shop is really good and can somehow fill in the holes in the bumper that will be next to the cut out and bondo it. dual exit exhaust tips would look really cool...! Use it as an excuse to personalise your car.... :D
