New Lights for the Alta Bar

I switched out the 4 IPF's for One pair of the Hella Black Magic's. I would have put 4 of them on the bar, but they are 7 1/4 inches wide and the Alta bar is designed for (4) 6" lights. I still may go with two more of them up on the bonnet grill. The main reasons I chose them is that they are black when they are off and I'm on a mission to de-chrome.

I like but wonder if sanding off and painting the Alta light would be an option

I think the housing of the Alta lights are black (the photo on their sites shows it this way.) The Black Magic lights appear to have a black lens when they are turned off... I don't think painting the reflectors on the Altas would be the same, if that's what you meant mdsbrain.

D@mn that looks good.

I have a stupid question. Did you have to re-run new wires and replace the wiring harness? or were you able to use the existing equipment?

Nice! Me likes!

Couldn't fit 2 IPF's in between? If so, I'm tempted.

Thanks golden_child,
I used the same wires from the IPF's that came with the bar... it was a pretty easy switch
