? on Alta driving light bracket.

Are there holes already in the front bumper brace to install the ALTA driving light bracket, or do you have to remove the bumper cover and drill the 4 holes to install the bracket?
Thanks.....

I can tell you that there ARE holes in the bumper (not the cover), in fact many. I dont know if the ALTA uses them. The OUTMotoring Brackets use them.

Here's how the Out Motoring brackets mount:

As I recall, we took off my bumper beam and drilled holes to attach the mounting bracket

The holes needed for the Alta light bar install DO NOT exist in your bumper. You have to drill them yourself, after careful measuring, of course.

I recommend using a corded drill, or at the very least, a cordless drill over 12V, with at LEAST 1 extra, fully-charged battery pack on hand.

Even though the bumper is hollow aluminum, it still will take a bit to get through both sides of it, four times.

And if I may emphasize the old addage, "measure twice, cut once", or in this case, drill once.

I agree with jonnieoh. Make sure it's right before you drill. Also, the Out Motoring brackets are very sturdy if you want some that don't require drilling.

Yes, you have to drill. 4 holes total, I believe 3/4".

Thanks for the reply guys. I hoped that the holes were already there wishful thinking I guess.... . Again, thanks for the replies and I guess I'll get a new drill bit before I take a go at it.
