Anyone have this down tube cd holder?

I wonder what it looks like and if it can be used to hold other things. Looks like it mounts below the toggle switches. Anyone got a picture?

Looks like one of the Fischer C-Box units. BMW has offered them in either CD or cassette version in Europe for a long time. Don't know if they're available here in the US. Here's a pic from Mini2 ...

Looks like it renders the cig plug useless.

Used to have something like that in a 94 E-Class. Dunno if that option was offered in the US or not. But it was useless because of how hard it was to get em opened and shut.

I hope these are a lot better 10 years down the line!

CDs?!

Just get an Ipod and the $40 kit and forget carrying multiple cds around in the car and messing with contraptions like this...all my cds are in their case and cabinet where they belong.

That's where I keep my CDs anyway. They don't need a holder; they just stay put.
