Interior/Exterior any maker for "aero wipers" for the MINI?
My understanding is that the funky "wing" on the OEM driver’s side has some function in feeding air into the cowl at higher speeds; can anyone confirm or deny this? Would there be a difference in having or not having that little wing? (Probably imperceptible, but there are those who will fight for 1 hp...)

That spoiler on the driver side wiper arm did nothing for the cowl.. It only helps the wiper stick on the windshield at high speed. If your remove it, you won't loose any hp.
I converted my Audi A3 from std wipers to the "Aero-Wiper" and found that the overall "Performance" of the wipers was DRASTICALLY improved
However, the Valeo Wipers were one of the first things I purchased for my MCS and for some reason (Angle of the windshield??) I experienced WORSE performance from the "Aero" style
There were streaks in the center of the blade that lifted off, the blades didn't "Flex" enough to wipe smoothly, etc.
Needless to say, I'm running std wipers again.
