Thanks man..... If you want me to, I will!

Btw those pads are for the newly acquired 6" random orbital buffer.....

Methinks I should come up with a price table......

Any color you want (preferably black)

Prices include shipping items back to ya.

Down tubes - $70
Dash - $150
Boot handle - $60
Hood Scoop - $80

What do you think of the prices?

Sound good to me but I am not the SME(Subject Matter Expert) so I could be wrong. My car is a daily driver so disassembling it is something that has to be done only on the weekends.

No worries. The parts he seems to be painting leave the car driveable while they're missing.

how is the finish quality?

if i'm going to pay 150 bucks to have someone paint my dash, it sould probably have a few coats of buffed clear on top with no little specs or contaminants in the paint.

painting is one of thos hard things to sell, its hard to please alot of people when paintihg stuff, it has to be perfect.

What was your process, LOTF? (or is it a trade secret?)

I just acquired a dash - think I'm gonna paint it IB. Would love to do so without the expense of taking to a shop, if the quality is good.

Process:

Scuff wit 220 lightly.

Scuff with 600.

Base coat, dry, WET sand entire coat, 2nd coat of base, dry, wet sand mprefections, third coat base, dry.....then clear, dry, sand entire wih 1000 grit, 2nd coat, wet sand entire coat, 3rd coat, wet sand with 2000 grit......Rubbing compound by hand.

It's quite involved....and trust me when I tell ya that I learned the HARD way how to do this......
