I was looking into getting a new drivers seat, basically for a bit more comfort for long distance trips and also provide some good support for when I start tracking the car a bit.

I was looking at the sparcos and the recaros, but I noticed that they come upolstered. I was curious do any of them come uncovered, for like less money, or should I start searching for a used seat and recover it?

 

Racing seats probably won't be more comfortable for long distance trips, but will satisfy your desire for more support on the track.

Because of the expense of having a seat upholstered, I'd do my best to find one that comes with the type of material you want. . .

 

I have a guy south of the border who will do it for 75 bucks and good quality so that part I am not worried about.


Do you not think the sportline or the millanos are more comfy for a taller person? I mean the extra thy support deffinetly helps . Not sure though, I could be completly wrong.

Do you have a local speed shop that sells these? For something as personal as a seat, I'd want to actually spend some time sitting in one before I made the commitment . . .
